This tour gives you the good chance to discover the magnificent land of Kyrgyzstan, the land of contrasts located in the very heart of Central Asia. You will be amazed by our gorgeous nature celestial mountains and magnificent lakes .The whole tour goes along the Great Silk Road passing through the Tian Shan Massif. You will visit the world's second largest alpine lake Issyk-Kul, as well as the picturesque Son Kul Lake, situated on a high plateau in the centre of Kyrgyzstan (3013m. above sea level). You will see many traditions of nomads which our people managed to reserve up today.


Tour summary:

Day 1: Bishkek - Issyk Kul Lake

Our tour-guide will meet you at the International Airport Manas after that he\she will accompany you to Bishkek city where you will have breakfast at 9 a.m. Then you will be transferred to the celestial Issyk-Kul Lake (200 km), the second highest lake in the world after Titicaca Lake (1608 m. above sea level). The Lake is also called "the pearl of Central Asia". On our way, we will visit the Burana Tower (10 century minaret) and an open air museum of Balbans (stone warriors). After traditional lunch, we continue to drive to the lake. As soon as we are in Hotel you will be able to go to the beach where you can lie on the warm sand or swim in the lake. Thanks to the salty water, Lake Issyk Kul possesses curative qualities and doesn't freeze up in winter. You will have dinner at 7p.m. 

Day 2: Issyk-Kul Lake - Karakol
Breakfast time is 8 a.m. Then you can spend time at the beach till 12 o'clock. After that you will start your trip to Karakol city by car (200 km). On the way, we will stop to give you the opportunity to visit ancient stone inscriptions (dating back to 800 B.C.), including the local museum. You will have a second stop during the trip at 13 o'clock, where you can enjoy lunch in a relaxed atmosphere, before to continue our way to Karakol city along the northern coast of the lake. Later we will stop again and you will have a one hour cruise on a steam boat. Then you will be transferred to Karakol city. Traditional dinner will be served for you at 7 p.m.Your overnight will be in guest house.

Day 3: Karakol - Tamga
The day begins with breakfast at 8 o'clock. In the morning you will have city tour around Karakol where your guide will tell you about sights of the city. The tour includes the visit of the Dungan mosque built in Chinese style without using a single metal nail. This will be followed by the visit of an old wooden Orthodox Church. Later, you will visit the museum of M.V. Prejvalsky, one of the well known explorers in Central Asia. His greatest achievements were the crossing of the great desert Taklamakan and the discovery of more than 4000 animals, including the Horse of Prejevalsky. After that is lunch and  departure from Karakol at 1 pm . After karakul we will go  to the impressive Jeti Oguz, the gorge of 7 red rocks (30km). You will see the Broken Heart Mountain and the Sanatorium (where you can take a hydro shower or get a massage). Then off to explore the Jeti Oguz valley (Yuri Gagarin's holidays house, yurts, alpine vegetation) or Chong Kyzyl Suu valley with its hot spring water and geophysics station built in 1948. Then transfer to Tamga village. Tamga was a place where ancient Tibetan monks lived in the 13th century. You will have dinner in Tamga guest house, where you will also spend a night; sauna optional.

Day 4: Tamga - Bokonbaiva - Kochkorka (120km)
Time of your breakfast is 9 o'clock. After having breakfast your free time till 12 o'clock during which you can go to the beach of the Issyk Kul Lake or to explore the village of Tamga. Then we start our way to Kochkorka village by car. We will have stop in Bokonbaeva village, where lunch will be served in the house of a local eagle-hunter. He has been hunting hares and foxes with the help of eagles (traditional way of nomads hunting). An eagle hunting show can be arranged. Afterwards, we will continue our way to Kochkorka through the Orto-Tokoi water reservoir. At the Kochkorka you will see how national Kyrgyz carpets are made. You will have chance to participate in the process and create your own carpet. You will have a traditional dinner with a local family, accompanied by a Kyrgyz national music show. You will stay for a night in the guest house. 

Day 5: Kochkorka - Son Kul Lake
After having breakfast you will go to the second largest lake in Kyrgyzstan Son Kul. Lunch will be taken on the way. Son Kul Lake is situated at an altitude of 3013 meters above sea level and surrounded by mountains.This place is perfect to relax because it is far from civilization. Many Herders of the Naryn region come to the lake to use it as a pastureland. After our arrival, you will be free to explore and enjoy its virgin nature and its surroundings. Dinner and overnight will be organized in nomadic collapsible dwellings - yurts. It is made of a wooden skeleton, covered with felt coverings and have been used for two thousand years.  

Day 6: Son Kul (3013m. above sea level)
Breakfast time is 9 o'clock. After breakfast is your free time. You can have horse back riding for several hours, or just to relax and enjoy the atmosphere of the wild, but calm nature. Lunch time is 2 p.m.. Then you will see also ancient petrogliphs and ritual stones of shamans. It is a great chance to get acquainted with nomadic way of life and to know more about their culture traditions and customs. National dinner will be served for you in the nomadic dwelling yurts. There you will also spend night. 

Day 7: Son Kul - Bishkek
The day begins with breakfast at 8 a.m. After breakfast we start our way back to Bishkek city (the capital of Kyrgyzstan). In Bishkek you will have a city tour lunch is inclided. You will see the central Ala-Too Square, Duboviy Park (Oak Park), Pobeda Square (Victory Square) National philharmonic and visit the History Museum, Oriental Bazaar, Art Gallery and many others places of interest. You will receive a separate programm, listing all places visited including a brief description. You will spend night in the Hotel**** .Farewell dinner is 7 p.m. 

Day 8: Bishkek - Europe
Our tour-guide will meet you at your hotel and accompany to the International Airport Manas according to the time and details of your flight
