Lakes in Kyrgyzstan

Chatyr Kul is a wonderful lake which is considered to be highest in Kyrgyzstan. It lies at 3530 m and fed by the Kok Aygyr river having no outflows. It is necessary to note that, there is no fish in the lake.

The Merzbacher lakes are famous for the� mystical features of appearing and disappearing every summer. The lakes flow about 4 km by 1 km and can vary between 40-80 meters in depth.

Sary Chelek is watered lake which is situated in the south west of the country. In the course of your tours in Kyrgyzstan, you will find it, surrounding by wood slopes and mountain streams.
