Sulaiman Mountain

The center of petroglyphs and legends about the King Solomon (Suleiman) is the Sulaiman Mountain that may be seen during tours in Kyrgyzstan at the height of 1175 m above sea level. The mountain is as long as 1,140 m, and as wide as 560 m. The mountain was name "The Throne of Solomon", Bara-Kukh, Takht-i-Suleiman until the 16^th century. Very often, they consider him travelling in Kyrgyzstan. And it may be visited during a tour in Kyrgyzstan. The Timurid dynasty leader built mosque at the top of the mountain. Seven cave of the mountains are Osh United Historical and Cultural Museum and may be travelled in Kyrgyzstan by guests of the country. Sulaiman Mountain is 300 years old and is located in the very center of Osh, Kyrgyzstan. It was enlisted in the UNESCO World Heritage List on June 29, 2009.
