Day 1: Ashgabat
Welcome to see you travelling on Turkmen tour! Being at the Ashgabat International Airport you will be met by our team. On tour, you will have an opportunity to visit amazing parks and monuments as well as sacred mosque and other buildings of interest. In the afternoon, you will drive to "Old Nisa"- The Sanctuary of Parhian Kings, which is protection of UNESCO and included in the World Heritage Site in 2007. Afterwards, you will travel to see the "Gypjak" Mosque and Mausoleum of the late President of Turkmenistan. Night is in a hotel.
Day 2: Ashgabat - Mary/Merv
Your morning will start from healthy breakfast and then have the tour to Mary city. Reaching on at Annau, you will see traces of Seyit Jamal-ad-Din Mosque (15th century). The past Sassanian city is located in modern Turkmenistan is Abiward or Abi-ward. Its remains were found only in the last century. You can find it in 8 km west of Kakhka station with the total area of 12,000 m2. It is 60 feet high and 700 feet round. In the afternoon we will continue our tour to Mary city. Ancient Merv is included in UNESCO World Heritage Site as well as one of the striking sites of Central Asia. Merv played an important role during the Great Silk Road for about 2 000 years. On tours you will learn more about XII century Mausoleums of the Sultan Sanjar and Muhammad Ibn Zayd of their valuable architectural significance. Rest is in hotel.
Day 3: Mary - Ashgabat
In the morning you will visit museum. On arrival, you will find the rich collection of Turkmen jewelry, carpets, and stuffed animals, yurt and pottery the Mongol livelihood. We are sure you will be impressed by the ancient traces. On the way, you will see demonstrations of pottery, weapons, household riggings and jewelry belonging to the Merv and Margush. In the afternoon, we will drive to Ashgabat city and visit Russian Bazaar, Ertogrul mosque. Overnight is in a hotel.
Day 4: Flight
Flight. End of Turkmen tour.
